It was in 2002 that Rob and Sonja Mills began 1st Choice Construction. From the very beginning, the goal was to build a company culture that would emphasize integrity and excellence. They believed in basic Indiana values, like responding promptly to a call for help, doing work in an efficient manner, and professionally following up. Doing the job well and doing it in a timely manner should never be exclusive to one another, and they worked hard to provide our customers with both.

Presently, Matt has taken on the role of owner. 1st Choice Construction continues to be a family-owned business, as a father and son company. The transition has been seamless. The professional excellence and the personal integrity that has always been sought to provide, continues to march on. The good reviews customers have been kind enough to give us bear witness to that.
With a background as a former county inspector, Matt brings a strong familiarity with all the important details that go into roofing safety. His experience is invaluable, not just for safety, but for regulatory compliance.
